Quick overview

B-grades have optical deviations or small irregularities. There is no damage to essential parts, such as the steel edges or irregularities in the core. The driving characteristics will therefore not be affected. In addition, there is a full warranty on the product.

The Yes Greats UnInc. has gotten even better. This asymmetrical twin has a large following. The Asym Midbite and flex make this twin extremely suitable for carving. The core has been upgraded to give a better more lively flex for your ollies and landings. Try to find a twin with more grip.

PROFILE

  • CamRock
A hybrid rocker / camber profile with a symmetrical tip and tail. The rocker resides in the nose, with a light camber between the feet. The camber is between your feet as a spring keeping your contact points on the ground as you go in and out of turns allowing you to keep that edge hold longer. Once compressed the camber will accentuate the rocker and lift the nose out more allowing it to float. This creates a super versatile board profile that performs under all conditions.

CORE

  • Poplar/Bamboo/Paulownia
Creating a lighter, more responsive core than the Full Poplar. The Poplar + Bamboo uses the same durable core, lightens it up by replacing 30% of the Poplar with Paulownia and then inserts two bamboo stringers down the full length for added pop and response.

REINFORCEMENTS

  • Triax
A snowboard often has two layers of fiberglass. A bottom and top layer. Both layers in this board are made of 3-dimensional fiberglass at a 45-degree angle. 3-dimensional fiberglass provides good torsional rigidity. This provides stability and response and is often used in boards for the more experienced rider.

  • Carbon
Carbon beams are placed in strategic positions to increase pop and snap without adding overall weight compared to traditional fiberglass only constructions. Carbon also adds flex memory, supporting the camber shape so the board remains lively over time and use.

BASE

  • Sintered True base
A sintered base is made from grains of coarse powder that are pressed until they form a solid. Genuine sintered base is harder and more expensive than extruded base. It can therefore be faster for those who drive aggressively and fast, provided the base is waxed according to the circumstances.

SIDEWALL & EDGES

  • Asym Midbite
Because we don’t have the same leg power when turning on a heel edge turn than on a toe edge turn, the asymmetrical edge profile corrects that. By providing a smaller radius and a shorter & deeper MidBite zone on the heel edge versus the toe edge you are able to get more powerful heelside turns with less rider effort. In order to get the same turning radius, you need less pressure.

OTHERS

  • Forever Flex
Forever Flex is the 'breaking' of the board. By bending the board before use, it is as if you have already ridden the board for a number of days. As a result, the flex of the board in your hands will remain stable and will change less with use.
