Simplify, reduce weight, and increase performance of your Voile splitboard with the new Voile Light Rail splitboard binding. The Light Rail integrates the Slider Track and Strap Binding into a lightweight, low profile, but rigid splitboard binding. A fully adjustable heel cup allows the high back to reach negative angles for more comfortable touring and a longer stride. It couldn’t be easier to transform your stance from tour mode into a perfect forward lean with the all-new Ride-N-Stride Highback.
INCLUDES:
Dual Climbing Heels
Touring Bracket and Slider Pins
Ride-N-Stride Highback
DOES NOT INCLUDE:
Splitboard Pucks
PERFORMANCE
The base plate is made of lightweight aluminum and designed to make sure you don't bring up loads off unnecessary snow. To withstand strong forces, the slider track is made of a slightly sturdier quality aluminum. The high side walls give you a lot of stability which you badly need during traverses. The heel cup is made out of the same aluminum as the baseplate and can be adjusted exactly to your shoe size. In the hard plastic highback there are two holes to attach the shaft of the boot to the highback with a Voile strap. This makes traversing even easier.
COMFORT
The Voile Light Rail straps and buckles do what they're supposed to do. Voile quality without any fuss. To keep the binding light and to ensure there is no snow build-up, a footbed has not been used. By purchasing canted pucks you can choose to place your legs in a more natural position while boarding.
USE
The binding is easy to convert with a pin system and pucks. The pin ensures that the binding cannot move in both touring- and ride-mode. The steel touring bracket is included. When the binding is in touring mode, the Ride-N-Stride's highback is easy to put in a negative position with lifting the clip on the back. Making sure you can adjust the angle of your binding to the inclination, Voile put in Dual Climbing wires. The only thing not included with the binding are the pucks.
