With our Snowcountry highlights, we’re putting a selection of new snowboards for the 2025 / 2026 season in the spotlight.

Want to know which snowboards are the best for the coming season? We’re happy to highlight a few of our favorites for powder, park, all-mountain/freeride, freeride, carve, and all-mountain riding.

Powder snowboards

When every turn in deep snow throws up a cloud of powder, it’s time for true powder snowboards. The three boards below are each perfect for surfing the snow, making every run a joy.

A snowboard that brings surf vibes to the snow. With a striking swallowtail, long rockered nose, and narrow waist, this board is made for deep powder. The directional shape with a setback stance provides more float without extra effort. The swallowtail also makes it easy to steer through powder and windblown snow. The result is a board that feels loose and playful in the tail yet remains stable. Like all Stranda snowboards, the Stranda Tree Surfer also carves beautifully. Even in the toughest conditions, this board will put a smile on your face.

This snowboard lives up to its name: smooth, forgiving, and versatile. The Burton Smooth Operator glides effortlessly through powder. The wider nose and shorter tail create a delightful surf-like feeling. Ideal for relaxed riding with flow and fun all over the mountain. The Directional Flat Top™ adds stability and forgiveness, while the playful flex inspires confidence in every turn.

Just like last year, the Bataleon Surfer makes our list again. The Bataleon Surfer is unmatched in float, agility, and surf feel. Thanks to the uplifted edges in the nose and tail, it glides over deep snow without diving or slowing down. The swallowtail provides extra float and control. In powder, the Surfer feels light and dynamic, and on the piste, it transforms into a carving cannon or slush slasher. A board that offers great stability.

Park snowboards

Kickers, rails, or side hits, these three spotlighted snowboards deliver maximum fun in the park.

The Salomon Huck Knife has already proven its worth in the park world. This snowboard is perfect for hitting big park lines, transitions, and rails. With its full camber twin shape, it provides excellent pop for rotations and strong edge hold when landing jumps. It delivers a direct, responsive feel without unwanted chatter, making the Huck Knife equally suitable for technical rails and large kickers.

chevron-right Nitro T1 25/26

For snowboarders who want to push their limits in the park while having as much fun as possible. The camber underfoot delivers solid pop and stable landings, while the subtle rocker in the nose and tail adds forgiveness. Perfect for rails and big kickers. The Nitro T1 25/26 is designed for advanced riders who go all in on the pro line in the park.

The Bataleon Evil Twin is forgiving, playful, and smooth, even when your landing isn’t perfect. Riding switch feels second nature with its true twin shape, while the board still delivers plenty of energy for take-offs and spins. The Evil Twin thrives on rails, jumps, and natural features. Perfect for park riders who want to do it all.

All-mountain/freeride snowboards

For riders who don’t see a boundary between piste and powder. The following three snowboards combine power, precision, and confidence in every terrain.

The Capita Aeronaut is the pro model of sidehit legend Arthur Longo. A snowboard for riders who love high speeds and technical control. The Aeronaut provides maximum stability during big drops and hard carves. An ultimate all-mountain resort monster that turns the entire mountain into your personal playground. This year, each topsheet comes with a unique graphic.

The Nitro Alternator is the creation of all-mountain maniacs Jared Elston, Griffin Siebert, and Tommy Delago. A backcountry freestyle snowboard for those who want to bring their freestyle tricks into the backcountry. The Alternator balances float in powder, edge grip on piste, and stability at high speed. It delivers a solid, confident feel for both groomers and deep backcountry runs.

The Never Summer Proto T3 FR features a triple camber profile for excellent edge hold and stability while remaining playful at lower speeds. With its directional shape, setback stance, and slightly extended nose, you get outstanding float in deep snow. The stiff tail adds stability during carves and landings. This aggressive board loves to charge both on and off the piste.

Freeride snowboards

For riders seeking adventure beyond the groomers. These freeride snowboards are designed for maximum control and stability on steep lines, deep powder, and variable conditions.

The K2 Alchemist is the pinnacle of freeride snowboards and is regarded as K2’s best snowboard. It combines an aggressive flex with superior edge hold for stability and control in challenging terrain. A refined shape ensures quick, confident turn initiation. The Alchemist K2 is built for advanced and expert riders seeking precision and power in every turn.

The legendary Nidecker Megalight returns with major upgrades. It features next-generation 3D shaping for better control, a renewed core for more stability, and a fast, durable base for smooth glide. This ultralight board is built for speed and precision in powder and steep terrain. For serious freeriders who blend technical riding with fast, fluid lines through the backcountry.

A versatile freeride board that combines power and playfulness. Designed for riders who want to draw their own lines in powder and on piste. The Sketch Artist feels lively underfoot and invites creative lines, natural features, and dynamic turns. For creative snowboarders who see the mountain as their canvas.

Carve snowboards

Deep turns, maximum edge grip, and the feeling of a race car on snow. Carve snowboards are for riders seeking pure performance, stability, and finesse at high speed.

With its directional shape, full camber profile, and precisely tuned sidecut, this board offers unparalleled grip and acceleration out of every turn. It absorbs vibrations for a silky-smooth ride at top speeds. It feels light, responsive, and stable underfoot. The Time Machine is built for hard snow, high speeds, and riders who want to perfect every carve.

Designed by Jeremy Jones with one goal: pure carve performance without losing playfulness. With the Jones Freecarver 9000s, you’ll make the fastest and deepest turns. The board has a long nine-meter radius with an extended effective edge. The medium/stiff flex, full camber, and tapered directional shape make this a powerful big-turn machine. It’s powerful yet smooth, as if every carve flows naturally into the next. Perfect for carving hard on groomers. Prefer a shorter radius for tighter turns? Then go for the Jones Freecarver 6000s.

chevron-right Nitro Pantera 25/26

One of the most legendary names in the snowboard scene! With the Pantera, you’re always in good hands, whether freeriding, carving, or charging down the mountain at Mach 3. Built for riders who love speed, precision, and raw power. The Nitro Pantera is uncompromising: a board that comes alive at full speed and deep carve lines.

All-mountain snowboards

Piste, powder, natural obstacles, all-mountain snowboards are true all-rounders. These three boards offer the perfect balance between control, playfulness, and versatile performance across the entire mountain.

Carve groomers, hit kickers, ride powder, the Amplid Singular does it all, every day, everywhere. It offers stability and grip at high speed and float in powder. This board feels responsive in quick turns and playful for creative lines or natural features. You can ride it as a directional or twin, depending on your style.

The Bataleon Goliath shines in its versatility. Perfect for snowboarders looking for an all-in-one solution. It provides extra float in deep snow and a forgiving feel on technical lines. Precision at high speed but playful enough for freestyle elements. A powerhouse for those who want to explore the whole mountain, from backcountry to piste.

A versatile all-mountain snowboard focused on fun. The board feels intuitive and playful, ideal for riders who like to combine freestyle elements with freeride lines. A true all-rounder that easily transitions between piste, powder, and park features.
