In the table below we give guidelines to determine the correct snowboard length for a male all-mountain snowboarder. Under the table you’ll find how many centimeters you should roughly deviate from the table depending on your riding style, level and gender.

When do you choose a 'wide' snowboard?
Wide snowboards are half to one-and-a-half centimeters wider in the waist. These boards are designed for snowboarders with a larger boot size (from 28.5 to 29 Mondopoint).
Finding your Mondopoint size
Mondopoint is the length of your foot in millimeters. Use this step-by-step guide to find your Mondopoint size:
- Step 1: Place a piece of paper on the floor with the short edge against a wall.
- Step 2: Stand on the paper with your bare foot, heel slightly against the wall.
- Step 3: Use a pencil to draw a straight line at your big toe. Keep the pencil perfectly upright while doing this. If possible, have someone else draw the line for you.
- Step 4: Use a ruler to measure the distance between the edge of the paper and the line. The result is your Mondopoint size.
Repeat these steps for both feet and use your largest foot. If you’re exactly between two sizes, round up.
Example: If the measured distance is 266 mm, your Mondopoint size is 27.
Women vs men snowboards
It varies by brand whether there is a distinction between a women's or men's snowboard. Often the difference is in the design and sometimes women's boards are a bit narrower and/or have a lower flex.
