  • If you order skis including bindings that need to be mounted, we will do everything we can to mount your skis the same day. In some cases, shipping may take 1-2 business days longer depending on how busy it is. Busy periods include Mondays, Black Friday, the week before Christmas break and the week before spring break. Quick overview

The Sandy Shapes Fantastica Split is the fastest freeride/touring board from Sandy Shapes. Thanks to a very directional shape, the long nose and the slim profile, it is able to maintain a very high speed even in the deepest snow. Fantastica is surfy in powder but also very fun in the slopes, where it is extremely playful and active giving support and stability even at high speeds. The soft geometry and the nose rocker, inspired by surfboards, complete its charm.

PROFILE

  • Freeride profile

In this case the camber is positioned under the feet, which have been moved backwards from 2 to 8 cm. The tip, longer than the tail, has a very soft rocker curve while the tail has a short radius one. An allmountain directional profile, ideal for carving on fresh snow but incredibly agile and responsive on the slopes.

  • Positive core profile

The positive core profile is done by shimming the woodcore starting from the tip and tail and reaching the maximum thickness under your feet, keeping it constant at the center of the board. In this way you get powerful boards oriented to speed and stability. This technology is very useful for splitboards, in order to reinforce the internal edge.

  • Directional

Directional boards are focused to give their best in one direction. The tip is longer and wider than the tail and the bindings are moved backwards by 2cm in the multipurpose boards, to 8cm in powder boards. Directional boards are versatile but find their best environment carving on the slopes and in deep snow.

CORE

  • Poplar-paulownia-ash, multistringer tech

The board woodcore is made with thinner wood strips in the outer part, close to the sidewalls. This technology allows to give a good bending and make the board extremely pleasant underfoot, especially for fresh snow and freeride, also in the wider boards despite their big measures.
