The Salomon S/Lab Shift 13 MN is a hybrid freeride ski binding. The efficiency of a Tech tour binding is combined with the performance of an Alpine Freeride binding. You can switch between tour and ski mode using a lever in the front. The Tech pins fold out in the Tour mode, allowing an efficient climb. Once at the top, you can switch the binding to Alpine mode and enjoy the direct power transfer and full safety function of an Alpine binding. This combination makes the Shift a versatile binding that gives you maximum freedom and allows you to enjoy both athletic skiing on the slopes and some heavy-duty touring in the backcountry.

Downhill Performance
You can experience the same safety and performance in its ski mode as with a regular Alpine binding. This includes an elastic freedom of movement in width. The wings of the front piece ensure a direct power transfer to the ski. The Shift has all the desired freeride characteristics in its ski mode.

Touring Capability
Flip the lever in the front piece and two Tech pins will appear that grip the Tech inserts of your shoes. This allows you to tour just as efficiently as with other tech tour bindings. Very easy to use. Both the entry and the adjustment of the walk modes positions can be done very easily and quickly.
