What is VLT?

VLT stands for 'Visible Light Transmission' and is expressed as a percentage. The higher the percentage, the more light the lens lets through. In cloudy conditions you therefore want a lens with a high percentage for good visibility. When choosing the right lens it's important to think about the weather conditions you'll be using the lens in.
