Why separate goggle lenses

If you have goggles with interchangeable lenses, you can buy spare lenses. If you already have a lens for a bright sunny day, it can be useful to also have one for darker conditions. Another advantage is that you can simply buy a new lens if the lens is damaged. Always make sure the lens fits the goggle model you own. Also pay attention to the size.

What is VLT?

VLT stands for 'Visible Light Transmission' and is expressed as a percentage. The higher the percentage, the more light the lens lets through. In low light you therefore want a lens with a high percentage for better visibility. When choosing the right lens, it’s important to think about the weather and light conditions you’ll be using it in.

The colour of a lens depends on its base tint. You only see the chosen lens colour properly when you use it outside in the snow. So if the lens colour you receive doesn’t seem right, check the lens colour on the packaging and compare it with the lens colour shown in our webshop.
