Quick overview

Ortovox Traverse backpacks are made for use all year round on summits big and small, although the Ortovox Traverse 38 S is best suited to multi-day tours that require a good deal of equipment.

A well-ventilated back system and good load distribution are especially essential in a backpack. Thanks to the ribbed, webbed material and perforated foam in the back pads, the Comfort Contact back system provides excellent air circulation and improved comfort. Ergonomically shaped shoulder straps and a broad hip belt distribute weight evenly across the body.

And when it comes to technical features, the Ortovox Traverse 38 S has plenty to offer: its spacious main compartment, lid pocket and additional bottom compartment offer enough storage space for multi-day tours. Small items can be stowed away quickly in the adjustable front pocket. The Traverse 38 S can be opened up completely using the circumferential front zipper, providing a good overview of the equipment inside. Your drink bottles will always be close at hand in the elastic side pockets, as will your map in the special map compartment. An integrated helmet net, hiking pole and ski fastenings, and stowable material loops at the end of the shoulder straps make the Traverse 38 S the optimal companion for alpine terrain. Additional features such as hydration system compatibility, rain cover, hip pocket and holders for your sunglasses or camera on the shoulder strap round off this versatile backpack.
