The Ortovox Pocket Spike can be quickly grabbed in risky situations, such as when you are only a few meters from the top or when you have to cross a steep slope. In two steps you can attach it to the PRO ALU III shovels for extra protection.

Ortovox Pocket Spike
The Ortovox Pocket Spike consists of two parts: the sturdy AL 7075 T6 ax blade and the tip, which is attached in place of the blade. The two parts snap together to form a single piece with no sharp edges and weigh just 95 grams.
