In the course of 2022, a large part of the Klean Kanteen collection will be made from 90% recycled steel. The goal is to have 95% of the collection made from recycled steel by 2023. Switching to recycled stainless steel will result in:

  • 40% less greenhouse gas emissions
  • 30% less energy demand
  • 60-80% less impact on the ecosystem

Climate Neutral
Klean Kanteen has been Climate Neutral since 2019. Climate Neutral means that CO₂ emissions are kept to a minimum and all remaining CO₂ emissions are compensated with climate protection measures. Klean Kanteen has achieved this by, among other things, reducing packaging material or using 'green' packaging material.
