Quick overview

The Kästle FX106 Ti is a freeride ski with a athletic character. The width and the freeride shape provide float in deep snow and make the ski controllable and easy to steer. The Kästle TriTi construction ensures that the ski is not easily overpowered and that the ski remains calm and controllable in the most difficult conditions. The FX106 Ti is the perfect ski for technically skilled and athletic freeriders.

Details

Rocker Camber Small Rise
Skis with a rocker in the tip, camber in the middle and a small rise in the tail are very versatile. The ski is easy to turn, and the camber under the foot gives the ski grip on harder snow. The tail is slightly raised, but it is not like a full rocker. This makes for a balanced combination of easy turning and carving, without compromising on stability.

Directional Shape
The tip in this ski is softer than the tail. This makes it easy to turn, while the stiffer tail provides stability and control when steering the turn.

Early Tapered Shape
The widest point of the taper is closer to the centre, which shortens the radius and makes the ski easier to steer.

TRI-TI Technology

Kästle TRI-TI Technology is focused on increasing stability and improving the transfer of power in the ski. TRI-TI consists of three exceptional techniques.

3D Shape.
By varying the thickness of the ski core a profile is created which contributes to the torsional stiffness and stability of the ski without adding extra material.

Triple Woodcore.
The use of no less than three types of wood in the core makes the ski perfectly suited to the desired use and saves weight.

Titanal.
Two Titanal layers provide damping and stability with minimal weight gain.

Hollowtech 3.0

Leaving out excess material in the tip of the skis has made Kästle's skis lighter, more damped, stable and with a better edge grip. Version 3.0 uses a second layer, allowing even more material to be removed.

Sidewall Construction
A PU layer that seals the layered ski construction on the side and adds strength. Skis with a sidewall construction are generally more stable at speed, livelier and more durable.
