Quick overview

The Head Kore 117 is the widest ski in the Kore series, making it the thickest Head powder ski. With a large rocker in the tip, this ski has lots of float. The sturdy and light core makes this ski also suitable for crud snow and those days with less powder.

Details

Rocker Camber Small Rise
Skis with a rocker in the tip, camber in the middle and a small rise in the tail are very versatile. The ski is easy to turn, and the camber under the foot gives the ski grip on harder snow. The tail is slightly raised, but it is not like a full rocker. This makes for a balanced combination of easy turning and carving, without compromising on stability.

Woodcore
The core consists of specifically selected wood types that are laminated in different compositions into a solid core. This gives the designers control over all the characteristics of the ski.

Hybrid Cap/Sandwich construction
These skis with a hybrid construction have a combination of Sidewall underfoot and Cap construction in the tip and tail. This combination unites a good edge hold with a low rotational weight.

Graphene

Graphene is an unrivaled light and strong material. With the use of Graphene, Head is able to make strong skis without affecting the weight.

Koroyd

Koroyd is a plastic material in a honeycomb profile. It is lightweight and known for its excellent energy absorption. By incorporating Koroyd into the core of the ski, the ski has better damping and is easier to control.

Topless Tech

Topsheet made of polyester and triaxial woven carbon. This saves weight and increases the torsional stiffness of the ski.
