By alpinism equipment we mean all the gear you need for mountain activities such as climbing, ski touring, splitboarding and  glacier travel.

Difference between a ski- or snowboard helmet and a climbing helmet

A ski or snowboard helmet is made to protect you in high-speed collisions, while a climbing helmet protects against impacts from above, for example falling rock. If you are going on an alpine tour where you will both climb and ski or splitboard, choose a hybrid helmet that is certified for climbing and snow sports. In addition, climbing helmets are suitable for a headlamp. Perfect if you're out early in the dark in the morning or late in the evening.

Winter sports equipment

In our winter sports equipment you'll find goggles, helmets and fall protection. Everything for more safety on the mountain. For example, a goggle protects your eyes from the cold, precipitation and UV radiation and a helmet protects your head from high-speed impacts. Fall protection includes crash pants and back protectors that shield the rest of your body from falls and knocks.

Snowshoes

Snowshoes are used over snowboard boots or sturdy hiking boots. Snowshoes increase your surface area on the snow, so you don't sink into deep snow. That lets you walk to places you'd otherwise not reach. Perfect for freeriders who want to walk an extra stretch at the top of the lift to reach a powder field.
