Warranty and Repairs

  • Product defective or incomplete

    Inspect your product thoroughly upon receipt. If your product is already defective or incomplete upon receipt, please report this before use and as soon as possible, but no later than 14 days after receipt. We will send you the missing part free of charge or, in the event of a defect, exchange the product free of charge.

  • Legal warranty - minimum 2 years

    We offer the legal warranty against manufacturing faults under normal use on all products. This means that you must be able to use the product without any problems during its expected lifetime. As a minimum lifespan we use 2 years for all our products unless explicitly stated otherwise on the product page.

    Warranty after 2 years
    In some cases, there may also be a warranty on manufacturing defects after 2 years. Please contact us to discuss the possibilities.

  • Additional Factory Warranty

    Some brands offer additional manufacturer's warranty. Conditions vary from one brand to another and notification of the guarantee may vary from one brand to another. If applicable, a manufacturer's warranty card will accompany the product with the registration procedure and conditions.

  • What is not covered by warranty

    You can always submit a warranty request, but the following types of damage are generally not covered by the statutory or manufacturer's warranty:

    1. Normal wear of the product.
    2. Impact damage.
    3. Damage caused by improper use, abuse or neglect.
    4. Damage caused by incorrect assembly or adjustment of the bindings.
    5. Damage caused by ski lifts.
    6. Usage damage.
    7. Damage caused by alterations or repairs to the product.
    8. Damage caused by things that are not related to material or production.
    9. Damage caused by lubricants or adhesives.
    10. Defects caused by transport or storage of the product.
    11. Defects or damage caused by improper use or maintenance.
    12. Damage caused by non-compliance with the instructions in the operating instructions.
    13. Damage caused by alterations or repairs to the product.
    14. Any damage caused by sharp objects, by turning, squeezing, falling, abnormal use or any other incorrect action.


    If the damage is caused by any of the above, we cannot guarantee that your problem will be covered under warranty.

  • Applying for Warranty

    Report the defect as soon as you detect it to prevent further damage. Snowcountry is always your first point of contact for warranty claims.

  • Warranty handling within the EU, Norway and Switzerland

    After we have received your request, we will try to give an initial estimate of the problem and possible solution. We will send you a return label with which you can return the product to us free of charge.

    The defect is covered by the warranty.
    We will ship the product to the supplier or authorised repair center. The handling of this takes on average 2-3 weeks and we will keep you as well informed as possible about the status. If repair is not possible, we will deliver you a replacement product. The handling of an approved warranty claim is free of charge and we will do our best to handle this with as little inconvenience to you as possible.

    The defect is not covered by the warranty.
    If the repairer or manufacturer assesses that the damage is not covered by the warranty, we will notify you and discuss the repair or replacement costs with you.

  • Warranty handling outside the EU, Norway and Switzerland

    After we have received your request, we will try to give an initial estimate of the problem and possible solution. You can then return the product to us at your own expense. In some cases we may refer you to the manufacturer or supplier in your own country for faster handling. Of course we will remain your point of contact.

    The defect is covered by the warranty.
    We will send the product to the supplier or authorised repair center to have it repaired free of charge. The handling of this takes on average 2-3 weeks and we will keep you as well informed as possible about the status. If repair is not possible, we will provide you with a replacement product. Please note that in order to get the repaired product back to you, we can charge shipping costs.

    The defect is not covered by the warranty.
    If the repairer or supplier assesses that the damage is not covered by the warranty, we will notify you and discuss the repair or replacement costs with you.

  • Warranty on B-choice, Outlet and Demo products

    B-choice and outlet products are covered under normal warranty. No additional rules or exclusions apply to it unless explicitly stated otherwise on the product page. Used demo products may be covered by a limited warranty. This is mentioned on the product page.
