  • Advice
In our shop, ski, snowboard and outdoor specialists are ready to help you make the right choice. Everyone at Snowcountry is a freerider, snowboarder and/or tour skier. We are familiar with the products we sell because we use a lot of them ourselves.
  • Product Range

All the products that you can order on our website are also in stock, so you can see and try on everything in our showroom. Because our range is too large to show in our store, we recommend that you make a selection of products you would like to see in advance.

  • Ski boot fitting

In our showroom, we will gladly help you find the perfect ski boot. We take ample time to find the right boot for you. We advise you to reserve 45 minutes to 1.5 hours of your time. We have a wide range of alpine, freeride and touring boots. We only stock high-end boots for advanced and expert skiers.

How do we fit ski boots?

    Step 1 - 3D Foot Scan
We use the Sidas Corpus-e Feetbox 3D. This 3D laser scanner creates a 3D image of your feet and lower leg with an accuracy of +/- 1 mm. Next, your foot volume, foot pressure and foot position are analysed. This data is compared to a database that stores the shape and volume of all our ski boots. We can use this scan to find the best match and often narrow it down to 1 or 2 models.

Step 2 (Optional) - custom soles
In all cases we recommend fitting Sidas custom soles. You put your weight on vacuum cushion as we cast the underside of your foot. We then use this mould to make the soles exactly to size. The advantage of these custom soles is that they fit much better to the shape of your foot and therefore support better than the standard soles that are included in a ski boot. This can prevent many problems with cold toes, cramps and pressure points.

    Step 3 – Try on
Using the 3D foot scan and with the optional sole, you can try on your boots with a pair of new performance socks from Stance. Because of the data we extract from the scan, the first or second pair you try on are often the right ones.

Step 4 (Optional) - Boot fitting
Once you've chosen a ski boot we can heat the liners on some ski boots so it fits little bit better to your foot. For the best fit you can also order Zipfit liners from us. These liners contain cork that forms completely to your foot after heating. The Zipfit liner replaces the original liner in its entirety.

    Step 5 – Follow up
Did you buy ski boots from us in the showroom on our advice and they aren’t working for you? Please contact us to make an appointment. In some cases, we can make further adjustments to the boot to solve the problem. This is completely free of charge.
Please note that we only offer this service free of charge if you bought your boots in the showroom based on our advice. If you bought the boots online from us, or if you bought a boot in the showroom that we did not recommend, you can still come in for adjustments, but we will charge you. In that case, please contact us for an estimate.

    Costs
When you come to us for a ski boot fitting, you pay € 50 for the foot scan and a pair of new Stance socks. If you buy the boots from us, we will deduct this € 50 from the purchase price of the boot. The cost for custom soles is € 99. This is, of course, optional.

  • Snowboard Boot Fitting

We will gladly help you find the perfect snowboard boot in our showroom. We take ample time to find the right boot for you. We advise you to reserve 45 minutes to 1.5 hours of your time. We have a wide range of all-mountain, freeride and touring boots. We mainly stock high-end boots for the advanced and expert snowboarders.
