In some cases, shipping may take 1-2 business days longer depending on how busy it is. Busy periods include Mondays, Black Friday, the week before Christmas break and the week before spring break. The Clew Freedom 1.0 is a 'one of a kind'. This easy-to-use binding combines Step-in with Strap-in. A good alternative to all other Step On Binding Systems. This binding consists out of two parts. One part that is screwed to your board and a part that straps around your boot like a conventional binding. Getting in and out of the skilift has never been so easy.

PERFORMANCE

The Clew Freedom 1.0 does ensure a tight fit because of it's combination of Step- and Strap-in. The two straps and buckles are like on any other strap-binding. The binding is made of Fibreglass reinforced plastics. This makes the binding responsive and suited for all-mountain use.

COMFORT

The binding has a basepad to dampen vibration. The toe- and anklestrap are easy to adjust with a toolless screw. When in walking mode you will feel your heel is a little raised. When walking just a few meters, like stepping in and out of a lift, it's hardly noticeable. But when you go for a drink or something to eat, you can easily strap out and leave the complete binding at your board.

USE

The Clew Freedom 1.0 Line consists out of two parts. The first part, the highback, can be strapped to any soft boot. It's light and designed so that it doesn't bother you while walking. The second part, the Base, is permanently mounted on your snowboard. You can connect the highback and base by simply stepping in, without having to use your hands. Thanks to the patented locking mechanism, entry also works when the binding is covered with snow or ice. To get out of the binding, all you have to do is pull the red handle. The mechanism opens, releases the highback and you can get out of the binding immediately. CLEW binding deliberately retained the basic structure of a buckle binding. As a result, the unsurpassed driving experience is retained and you feel safe in every situation. In addition, you have all the usual setting options to readjust your binding at any time and adapt it to your needs.
