• Alpine V3 Profile

The ALPINE V3 Profile features lower-body camber with a reverse cambered nose. This allows for maximum turning power while increasing float and landing stability. The camber runs deep into the tail on the SUPERNOVA providing enhanced performance for this alpine powder series.

CORE

P2 superlight core

The p2 superlight core is an extremely lightweight and versatile core. Engineered for the ultrafear urban assault weapon and the outsiders park destroyer, this core can withstand high impact and delivers maximum pop. Comprised of an even mix of poplar and paulownia wood, it is strong enough to excel at the highest level while saving considerable weight.

BASE

• Quantum Drive Base

The Quantum Drive running base is formulated with a new blend of compressed ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene. As an evolution from the already blazing fast Ultradrive from 2018, this new running base for 2019 and beyond features higher density for durability and absorbs more wax to wick longer and ride faster. Properly maintained sintered bases are fast, durable, and are the preferred choice of many high-end enthusiasts worldwide.

TOPSHEET

• Holysheet fiberglass

The all new holysheet fiberglass configuration features new fiber weaves with a high tensile strength and low modulus of elasticity. With a higher roving count in the same weight of glass, you can have a stronger and more responsive board without adding extra weight. Triaxial fiberglass is placed on top of the core and biaxial fiberglass beneath, creating a perfectly blended ride while increasing strength and durability. Combine this layup with the magic bean resin and one of the many additives we have available, and you get a high performing board tailored to meet your style of riding.

• PLT Topsheet Technology

The PLT machine sits in a secret hidden corner of the factory behind two very unassuming, nondescript metal doors. The PLT  is so secretive that with the exception of its inventor, Mr. Michi Kollmann, all visitors to the room must be versed in an ever-changing secret handshake. PLT technology is exclusive to CAPiTA MFG and magically bonds the topsheet to an already pressed snowboard. This is magical because the rest of the world mashes their topsheets on with glue, heat and pressure during the pressing stage. Doing so causes the fiberglass structure underneath to show through the topsheet. And because nobody wants to spend their hard earned cash on a bumpy snowboard, many companies slather their tops with a thick toxic lacquer to smooth things out. Not only is that shit HEAVY and can potentially develop unsightly hairline cracks, it’s also really unhealthy for the working environment. The PLT machine produces a featherlight, smooth, high-gloss finish, without all that poisonous deadweight.

• Magic Bean Resin

Developed over a three-year span, this all new resin system has a bio-content of 60% renewable, agricultural raw materials. It is plant based that does not compete with primary food sources and is produced with no waste or greenhouse emissions. In production, it has a low-temperature requirement with a high yield output. This resin system is poppy, powerful, and extremely durable. Magic bean resin yields much stronger and more rigid qualities allowing us to decrease the wood core thickness. Our focus is to save wood core weight by increasing resin performance. This means you get a lighter board while achieving higher energy return.
