BINDING

  • Carbon/Nylon Baseplate
    The Single-component baseplate construction features one material throughout, providing consistent response and feel while riding on any terrain. 50:50 carbon fiber/nylon composite blend construction is hyper lightweight and responsive.

  • Carbon/Nylon Hi-Back
    The Single-component canted hi-back construction provides a good response and allows you to manipulate the overall flex profile of the board. 50:50 carbon fiber/nylon composite blend construction is lightweight and very responsive.

  • Step On Use X
    No straps. No fuss. Just three simple clicks and you’re good to go. Hop off the lift and straight onto the run - it’s that simple.

  • Step On Comfort X
    Comfort that lasts from first chair to your final lap. Step On boots and bindings feature full underfoot cushioning to limit fatigue and offer a broken-in feel right out of the box.

  • Re:Flex System
    The Burton Re:Flex system provides more flex, feel and cushioning than normal disc bindings. The omission of material under the foot also removes the dead center in the flex of a board, wich is caused by the binding. This will result in a better feel with the board.

  • FullBED Cushioning
    The FullBED cushioning system provides full underfoot cushioning, maximizing comfort while minimizing fatigue, and features a trap door design for easy-access to mounting hardware.

  • Forward Lean
    The Zero Forward Lean Hi-Back is completely vertical and designed for riders who prefer a more playful and relaxed feel. FLAD system allows you to make micro adjustments to your forward lean angle to customize your stance. The more forward lean, the quicker your turn-initation.

  • Step On Toe Hooks
    The Toe Hooks are located on the front of each boot. Toe hooks keep the toes securely fastened in the Step On binding. Dual component design ensures maximum durability for multi-season use and ease of use. After you lock into the heel cleat, apply pressure to both toe hooks until you hear two clicks. Now, you’re securely locked in and ready to ride.

  • Step On Heel Cleat
    The Heel Cleat is designed using the same principles as locking teeth found in traditional binding buckles. This component features two levels of connection to accommodate for varying accumulations of snow and icepack in the binding. To engage the heel cleat, simply step down, apply pressure, and listen for a click.

  • Step On Backstay
    Step On® backstay features a connection point on the heel for a strapless boot-to-binding connection that offers unprecedented convenience and performance.

  • Step On Boot to Binding Connection
    Step On® boot-to-binding connection features two points of connection by the toe and one by the heel for unprecedented performance in a simple and secure system. For releasing you pull the lever and step right out.

  • Step On Compatibility
    Step On Bindings must be used with Burton Step On Boots. The binding size depends on the shoe size.
