CORE

• Highland Core

Our most premium core, made from a blend of poplar and paulownia for super light weight performance, durability, and return. Every Arbor snowboard is made with a full-length, sustainably sourced wood core. Each core is custom built and cnc shaped for a specific model and size. The extra effort helps guarantee the tolerance, flex, and finish quality of every arbor snowboard produced. New for 2019, all boards featuring a power ply topsheet also feature lighter, carefully selected poplar in their respective cores, resulting in a noticeable reduction in weight across a variety of models. These cores can be identified in each boards notable features with the “lt” designation after the core name.

BASE

• Sintered Crosslink Base

Our new CrossLink base is a mid-density material that demonstrates increased speed and durability while maintaining the ease of repair.

• Zero Waste Base Technology

All of our die-cut bases feature our Zero Waste Base technology, and come in interchangable 2 colorways. This process is essential to reducing our carbon footprint and eliminating waste duing the manufacturing process.

TOPSHEET

• Hand Dyed Ash Powerply

The Power Ply works like an added layer of fiberglass. During construction, the natural wood or bamboo fibers are turned into a composite layer inside the board, but the process takes time.

• Biax glassing

A biax over biax lay–up that’s designed for park and street inspired allmountain riding. Also creates a good platform for learning.

• Bio-Plastic Topsheet

One of the materials we use in our quest to eliminate harmful pertrolium based plastics from our production cycle. Made from Castor Bean Oil, this eco-topsheet is extremely durable and water repellent.

• Entropy Bio Resin

All Powerplys and R.A.P. Topless Tech veneers are made with Entropy Bio-Resin, a replacement for traditional petroleum based resin that doesn’t affect performance or usability. The ingredients that go into Entropy Bio-Resin are sourced as co-products or waste products of other industrial processes and are manufactured employing green chemistry techniques that reduce the carbon footprint of the material by up to 40% (when compared to its petroleum based equivalent).

SIDEWALL

• 360 rails

A 360–degree, fully wrapped sidewall that eliminates the need for tip fill, while effectively tying the whole snowboard together. A technology that delivers incredibly tight tolerances for improved board life and durability.

• Recycled Steel Edges

Our highly durable, recycled steed edges embody two of Arbor’s key values: quality and sustainability.
