The Völkl Mantra 84 is designed for sporty skiers who prefer groomed terrain but want a ski that remains dependable in variable snow. Its 84 mm waist and race-inspired construction offer precise handling and strong edge grip, supported by the 3D Radius Sidecut for versatile turn shapes. With tailored metal and carbon technologies, the ski balances stability with agility across varying speeds. Ideal for technical piste skiers who appreciate a freeride-influenced feel in challenging slope conditions.

Rocker Camber Small Rise
Skis with a rocker in the tip, camber in the middle and a small rise in the tail are very versatile. The ski is easy to turn, and the camber under the foot gives the ski grip on harder snow. The tail is slightly raised, but it is not like a full rocker. This makes for a balanced combination of easy turning and carving, without compromising on stability.
Woodcore
The core consists of specifically selected wood types that are laminated in different compositions into a solid core. This gives the designers control over all the characteristics of the ski.
Tailored Carbon Tips
Carbon fibers are precisely positioned in the tip area to control stiffness and torsion. This targeted reinforcement improves tip response and enhances precision when initiating turns. The lightweight construction keeps the ski agile while allowing energy to build up quickly through the front of the ski. The result is a more direct and responsive feel with less effort required to engage the shovel.
Tailored Titanal Frame
The size of the frames is tailored to the average skier's height, skiing ability and power that corrolates to the model and length of the ski. This means that longer ski models have a higher titanal content for more stiffness, more direct power transmission and stronger dampening. The shorter the length, the lower the titanal content, which makes the ski more agile, so that smaller, lighter and less powerful skiers can use the full potential performance of the ski. In addition to the Tailored Titanal Frames, a second, thinner titanal layer is located in the binding area, which gives the ski the necessary strength, but also agility.
Triple Radius
For maximum diversity in turns and skiing style, the ski has different radii in the middle and at the end.
Multilayer Woods Core
A combination of lighter, softer polar and heavier, stronger beech wood provides a combination between light weight, strength, durability and damping.
