The Rome Ravine Pro is the 'beefed-up' version of the Ravine. Built for riders who want an aggressive all-mountain board for high-octane riding. With its stiff flex and all-mountain mentality, this board is perfect for optimal performance on a variety of off-piste terrain. Designed for those steep lines, powder pillows and/or crud you may encounter on your runs. The 3D tip in combination with 6-10mm taper gives the Ravine effortless float in all conditions. The 'Impact Plates' dampen vibrations and ensure a smooth ride.

PROFILE

  • Free The Ride
    Camber underfoot with early-rise rocker in the nose. Early rocker causes the nose to lift in powder while camber under both feet maintains momentum and stability through deep-driving turns and variable conditions. Two HotRods in the board’s tail for medium to powerful responsiveness.

  • Directional Diamond 3D
    Designed to increase float in deep snow, improve handling in variable terrain, smooth turn initiation, reduce edge-catch and complement all-mountain riding in all senses. The 3D Diamond is available in Directional and Twin Configurations.

CORE

  • Superpop Core
    Our lightest and most responsive core, built with alternating strips of 10mm strips of poplar and 20mm strips of paulownia.

REINFORCEMENTS

  • Carbon Hotrods
    Thin rods of carbon that are milled into the boards core starting at the insert pack and extending into the nose and/or tail. Carbon HotRods are super responsive and powerfully snappy.

  • Omega Construction
    Omegas are the next generation of responsive, ride-anything tech. Made of carbon, the Omegas act as housing built around the HotRods and are designed to provide additional power and responsiveness.

 

  • Directional Double
    Two HotRods in the board’s tail for medium to powerful responsiveness.

  • Triax Glass
    Fiberglass running in three different axes, built for torsional rigidity and added snap.

  • Flax Impact Plates
    Built to cover and reinforce the insert pack. Flax Impact Plates are designed to make boards more durable, absorb impact and add increased strength without changing the board’s flex pattern.

 

  • Flax Walls
    An I-beam shaped sidewall. This natural, low-density material has advanced strengthening properties. When used in a vertical arrangement between the core and sidewall Flax Walls create rigidity and stability.

BASE

  • Sintered Base
    Our premium sintered base material featuring high molecular content and insane wax absorption thanks to its open structure. Our fastest and most advanced base for demanding riders.

MOUNTING

  • 2x4
    Provide a wide stance range, while at the same time delivering critical micro adjustability. Not suitable for Burton EST and 3D bindings.
