In short

The Rome Katana is a true powerhouse and a Snowcountry favorite for a reason. Made for the advanced snowboarder who requires a quick response and a lightweight binding, but still maintains a surfy style. Thanks to the Asymwrap Heelcup, the foot gets more support on the inside and a surfy feel on the outside. This ensures a good response while laying those carved turns and stylisch curves in the trees. The katana makes every board ride better!

In detail

ENTRY SYSTEM

  • Traditional Strap Entry
No gimmicks, no shortcuts, just the classic strap-in feel that has proven itself for years. A separate ankle strap and toe strap let you dial in support, pressure and board feel exactly how you like it. It is simple, reliable and direct, with the familiar locked-in feeling riders trust when it is time to drop in. Strap in and get after it.

CHASSIS

  • Asymwrap Heelcup
The AsymWrap Fixed Heelcup only runs under the ball of the foot on the inside of the foot. This asymmetrical design ensures a natural flex of the board underfoot.
  • Adjustable Baseplate
Streamlines sizing adjustments for a better fit across a wider range of boot models and sizes.
  • Forged Aluminum HeelHoop
Forged aluminum adds strength and durability while keeping the heelhoop lightweight and versatile.
  • 30% Glass Baseplate
A 30% glass and 70% nylon construction creates a responsive, stable baseplate with a versatile and predictable ride.
  • 2-Degree Dual Density Footbed
A canted dual-density footbed supports a more natural stance while adding comfort underfoot.

HIGHBACK

  • 15% Glass Highback
A 15% glass and 85% nylon construction creates a mellow, medium-flexing feel for a smooth ride.

STRAPS

  • OmniFlex Ankle Straps
A solid state overmolded design engages with a TPU spine to blend responsive torsional flex with edge-to-edge power.
  • ProGrip Toe Straps
A one-piece AuxTech design delivers locked-in hold, strong comfort and even pressure distribution over the boot.
