The Lib Tech Mayhem Rocket features a progressive elliptical sidecuts paired with a powerful set back camber and stance to create the ultimate hard pack carving power trenching machine. An easy initiating and extra floaty early rise nose and powerful poppy tail rip through the storm and shine in every condition on the mountain. A mid wide shape has lots of planning surface explodes through no toe drag power turns and floats the soft stuff. A firm flexing, sustainable Aspen/Paulownia wood core, rugged sintered base and eco-sublimated graphics will have you blasting around the mountain all year long. This Rocket is balanced to perfection and always ready for lift off.

PROFILE

  • Early Rise Directional Camber
    This profile has setback camber and early rise nose for effortless turn initiation and float. The camber in the back gives powerful pop, carving capabilities and edge hold.

CORE

  • Original Power Construction
    Original Power Construction is light, strong and durable. Original power is Lib Tech's go-to construction. The core consists of: 75% Aspen / 25% Paulownia with a layer of tri-ax and a layer of bi-ax fiberglass. A good core for maintaining the character of the board.

REINFORCEMENTS

  • Tri-ax/Bi-ax Fiberglass Combo
    A perfect mix of Tri-Ax over Bi-Ax, these are carbon stringers that further affect and improve torsional stiffness and pop.

BASE

  • Sintered Knife Cut Base
    This is Lib Tech's sintered base. This base is fast, durable and absorbent. Like other sintered bases, the wax absorbs quickly and improves the glide.

TOPSHEET

  • Eco Sublimated Poly Top
    Strong polyester topsheet made in the Mervin factory. Eco-friendly, with a beautiful design.

SIDEWALL & EDGES

  • Birch Internal Sidewall
    The internal sidewalls are reinforced with Birch. This gives you a better response and more control. In addition, the chance of a 'fatal' impact on your steel side is reduced.

  • UHMW Sintered Sidewall
    Very strong, waterproof and light sidewall that bends well with the flex of your board. No environmentally unfriendly ABS!

  • UHMW Tip/Tail Impact Deflection
    It is mainly the tip and tail that are damaged while using your board. By using UHMWPE in the tip and tail you prevent this damage and possible delamination. The steel edge of Lib tech boards therefore does not extend beyond the contact points.

OTHER

  • 2x4 Inserts
    2x4 has more mounting option then 4x4. All new bindings will fit on these boards, except for 3D and EST.

  • Handcrafted
    Handcrafted in the USA near Canada! These snowboards are handmade and tested in the Mervin factory in America.
