Quick overview

For advanced skiers who value versatility, the Kästle M8 84 strikes the perfect balance. The 84 mm width provides reliable stability on firm pistes and handles changing snow conditions with ease. Reinforced with titanal, this ski offers excellent edge hold and power, while the poplar wood core adds a lively feel. Whether carving fast turns or navigating variable terrain, this ski ensures smooth, controlled performance for all-day piste exploration.

Details

Rocker Camber Small Rise
Skis with a rocker in the tip, camber in the middle and a small rise in the tail are very versatile. The ski is easy to turn, and the camber under the foot gives the ski grip on harder snow. The tail is slightly raised, but it is not like a full rocker. This makes for a balanced combination of easy turning and carving, without compromising on stability.

Woodcore
The core consists of specifically selected wood types that are laminated in different compositions into a solid core. This gives the designers control over all the characteristics of the ski.

Titanal
A composite metal of mainly aluminium, known for its torsional stiffness and durability. The addition of a Titanal layer to the ski construction provides stability at speed, strength and damping.

Hollowtech

Leaving out excess material in the tip of the skis has made Kästle's skis lighter, more damped, stable and with a better edge grip.

Semi-Cap Construction
Semi-cap construction blends a cap design's durability with the sidewall design's performance benefits. It protects the ski’s top sheet from chipping while also maintaining the edge grip and torsional stiffness, offering a balance between durability and performance.

Sandwich Construction
This traditional ski construction stacks multiple layers of materials, such as wood cores, Titanal, and/or laminates, in a horizontal 'sandwich'. This method enhances torsional rigidity and delivers precise flex patterns, translating into superior edge control and power transfer for more technical skiing.
