The 106 Ti is built for deep days and big lines, but retains surprising playability. Although it now has titanal layers, it feels more playful than its predecessor (105) because the titanal replaces the previously used carbon layers. This gives the ski more cushioning and stability without making it stiff. It is still a bit smoother than the old 105, which actually makes it even better in soft and deep snow. On piste it can still carve just fine, but its true strength is in off-piste work. With more float and taper, the energy and kick in turns decreases slightly, but the smooth, powerful handling remains.
