The Burton Fish 3D Directional Flat Top Snowboard is designed to answer the call of the snow gods. This board takes the iconic Fish design to new heights with surfboard-inspired 3D convex shaping in the tip and tail, providing playful float and slash performance. After extensive on-snow testing, it delivers exceptional surfability, responsiveness, and control in deep snow. Ideal for the deepest powder days and untouched secret stashes, it features a double swallowtail for enhanced acceleration and cornering control, while its reduced length ensures a nimble, agile ride.

PROFILE

  • Directional Flat Top
    A flat profile overall with a rockered nose. Flat provides the steady stability and while the rockered provides effortless float demanded by deep days and surfy terrain.

SHAPE

  • Directional Shape
    A shape designed around a clear nose and tail for stronger drive in one direction. This gives the board a more confident feel when carving, riding fast and moving through variable snow.
  • 3D Tech
    3D shaping adds contour to the board for a smoother, more surf-inspired ride. It helps the board plane through deep snow, roll from edge to edge more naturally and stay loose where a flat shape can feel locked in.

CORE

  • Superfly II 700G - Dualzone EGD Core
    Engineered Grain Direction (EGD™). Burton-specific engineered wood grains. The wood grain is positioned along the toe and heel edges on two continuous zones perpendicular to the rest of the wood core, for consistent edge-hold and added strength. More edge-hold, response, and strength.
  • 45° Carbon Highlights
    Carbon Highlights optimizes each layer of the fiberglass matrix and adds a full tip-to-tail carbon layer to reduce weight and fine tune torsional feel to achieve different ride characteristics. A 45° fiber angle provides a more aggressive ride. Bottom Glass = Uni-Direction Carbon & -45°/+45°. Top Glass = -45°/+45° & Uni-Direction Glass (0°).
  • Infinite Ride
    This Burton-exclusive technology allows us to maximize pop and strength by overbuilding the board, then putting it in a machine that breaks in the board for you. No matter the bend, rest assured that with Infinite Ride™ your board will maintain its flex, pop, and feel from the first day forward, season after season.

BASE & TOPSHEET

  • Sintered WFO Base
    A small percentage of wax is impregnated within the sintered base, so it will maintain glide and speed longer between waxes. Also comes in a Recycled variation, Recycled Sintered WFO.

ADDITIONALS

  • The Channel
    The Channel® is Burton’s answer to connecting bindings to a snowboard in the strongest way possible without sacrificing board flex and feel underfoot while giving you ultimate control of your stance. Compatible with all major bindings (not just Burtons).
