This board transforms into a true carve cannon on the slopes, with effortless edge changes and extreme edge grip. It has also been fitted with Air Ride, which dampens vibrations to create more stability at high speeds.

In detail

PROFILE

  • Pow TBT
    Pow 3BT™ features a narrow centerbase and maximum uplift with SideKick™ in the nose. The emphasis is on float, with an oversized nose that also offers excellent stability in rough conditions. Nothing beats these boards in deep snow, though make no mistake they hold their own on hardpack too.

  • SideKick
    In addition to 3BT, the boards with Sidekick have raised contact points. SideKick makes turn initiation even smoother, increases float in powder and handling of the board in rough terrain.

  • Powder Hull
    The Surfer has an Aramid increase in the tail. This means you retain the surfy properties of the swallowtail, but you will have less trouble when you encounter bruchharsch when going off-piste. It brings more edge-grip as well because of the connection in the tail.

CORE

  • Super Ultra Light
    Bataleon's cream of the crop. The core has an 80:20 ratio of Swiss paulownia and poplar wood for the lightest power-to-weight ratio. This results in a lighter board that is easier to control but does not lose any of its stability.

REINFORCEMENTS

  • Carbon Stringers
    Carbon stringers are positioned in the board in different ways. This results in a stiffer board with more pop and responsiveness. Carbon stringers are light and will significantly improve the performance of your board.

  • D.R.S.T
    Six hollow carbon tubes have been placed in the board, parallel to the radius of the board. This results in extra power transfer at the steel edge.

  • Air Ride
    This is a feature you will only encounter on high-end boards. Air Ride is specifically designed to provide more damping at high speeds. You can think of it as your personal suspension kit for your snowboard.

  • Triax Glassing
    Triax laminate is made of three way-weave of fibreglass, which is light, strong and quick to respond. It results in a stiffer board underfoot with more responsiveness.

TOPSHEET

  • Aramid X-Ply
    Aramid fiber is a synthetic fiber made from polyamide with an exceptional strength and stiffness. It is resistant to abrasion and does not degrade easily under harsh conditions. With it's low density, ideal for keeping the weight of the board low.

BASE

  • Nano Speed S
    The fastest of them all. Bataleon created this sintered base together with ISO-Sport 7000 black racing series. The result is the fastest base that can be placed under a board.

SIDEWALL

  • ABS (recycled) Sidewall
    Provides enhanced durability while keeping the core safe from moisture. When a plastic alternative is unavailable, as in the case of ABS sidewalls, Bataleon has chosen for recycled material to improve the sustainability of their products.

  • Step Down Rails
    This topsheet 3D effect features a slight taper of the deck along the top of the sidewall. This reduces the top-profile, saving weight and adding more precision to your carves.
