In short

The Atomic Maven 103 CTI is a pure all-conditions freeride ski designed for women who are eager to charge hard and explore new terrain. With a 103mm width, this ski offers great float in powder while maintaining stability on hard snow. The Carbon Tank Mesh enhances strength without adding weight, ensuring nimbleness and responsiveness. Whether carving through fresh powder or tackling groomed runs, the Maven 103 CTI adapts seamlessly, making it ideal for advanced to expert skiers. Experience the thrill of versatile performance on every terrain the mountain has to offer with the Atomic Maven 103 CTI.

In detail

Rocker Camber Small Rise
Skis with a rocker in the tip, camber in the middle and a small rise in the tail are very versatile. The ski is easy to turn, and the camber under the foot gives the ski grip on harder snow. The tail is slightly raised, but it is not like a full rocker. This makes for a balanced combination of easy turning and carving, without compromising on stability.

Power Woodcore
A combination of Ash and Poplar wood provides a stable and sportive core for Atomic Performance skis.

CTI Powered
These are layers of carbon and titanal incorporated into the ski construction. This combination strengthens the ski and provides a balanced mix of agility and stability. Carbon keeps things light and lively, while titanal provides cushioning, grip and quietness at higher speeds. The result is a ski that is responsive, yet remains stable even on harder slopes.

HRZN Maverick & Maven

The stable HRZN 3D blade applied to the Maverick & Maven models is reinforced with wood, this provides more stability and smoothness at higher speeds.

Cap construction
A ski with Cap construction has a topsheet that extends over the edge of the ski to the steel edge. Skis with Cap construction are generally lightweight, more economical and offer good damage protection of the topsheet.

Characteristics

  1. All mountain
    Shape

    All mountain

The shape of an All Mountain ski is designed for versatile use both on and off the piste. It provides more support in soft and variable snow than a typical piste ski, while remaining agile and precise enough for use on groomed slopes.

  2. Tip & Tail Rocker
    Profile

    Tip & Tail Rocker

A Tip & Tail Rocker profile has an earlier-rising tip and tail with camber underfoot. This makes the ski easier to turn and increases versatility in soft and variable snow.

  3. Performance Woodcore
    Ski core

    Performance Woodcore

Developed to provide more support, precision and stability. This gives the ski a more direct and powerful character, especially at higher speeds and during technical skiing.

  4. Directional
    Ski outline

    Directional

Features a longer and generally wider tip than tail, with the sidecut positioned further back. This makes the shape clearly focused on forward skiing and provides more support and direction when entering and exiting a turn.

  5. Hybrid Cap Sidewall
    Side wall

    Hybrid Cap Sidewall

Combines sidewall and cap construction within the same ski. The sidewall is used where direct power transfer is desired, while the cap construction on other sections can help reduce weight and create a more accessible skiing feel.

  6. Titanal
    Core Tech

    Titanal

Titanal reinforcement adds damping, torsional stiffness and a more composed feel to the ski. This makes the ski feel more precise and stable at higher speeds and on hard snow, although titanal also adds weight.

  7. Carbon
    Core Tech

    Carbon

Lightweight carbon reinforcement can add stiffness and a more direct response without adding much weight. This helps the ski remain light while still providing support, although the exact effect depends strongly on the amount and placement of the carbon.

  8. Stiff
    Flex

    Stiff

Flexes less easily and therefore requires more technique and input from the skier. It provides more support, precision and composure at higher speeds and under heavier loads.

  9. Medium
    Radius

    Medium

With a radius of 17m @ 170cm, this ski offers a good balance between easy turn initiation and stability at speed. It feels predictable in short to medium-length turns and remains stable as the pace increases.
