ARVA Explore 40 Switch Cover – Maximum Capacity, Ultimate Versatility

The ARVA Explore 40 Switch Cover is designed for long ski tours and multi-day backcountry adventures, offering 40L of smart, secure storage. Lightweight at just 650g, it features a dedicated external pocket for avalanche safety gear, a large quick-access bottom compartment for skins, crampons, gloves, or water bottles, and internal pockets for small valuables.

Easily carry skis (A-frame or diagonal), a snowboard, or two ice axes, while the integrated stowable helmet holder ensures you’re always prepared. Built with durable recycled fabrics, this cover combines sustainability with performance.

Compatible with the ARVA SWITCH system, the Explore 40 Cover must be paired with a SWITCH FRAME REACTOR to activate the ARVA Reactor 2.0 airbag system, giving you modularity, safety, and flexibility for every mountain adventure.

  • Fast & easy side ski and snowboard carry: Attach your skis in just 2 clicks. The side (A-frame) carry is perfect for wide skis and provides better weight distribution. Using a strap to secure the ski tips and space the tails is generally recommended.
  • Integrated helmet holder: To make sure you always have it with you, we’ve added a stowable helmet holder compatible with all helmet types.
  • SWITCH Modularity: The SWITCH technology was developed to meet the needs of users who don’t limit themselves to one specific activity. Equip yourself with a SWITCH FRAME and several SWITCH COVERS to change volume in seconds and adapt to the adventure of the day. The SWITCH range offers ultra-light and comfortable airbag packs that go unnoticed on all your outings
  • Recycled fabrics: This product is made from tough recycled polyester to minimize our environmental impact and improve durability. Arva uses 300D polyester and 150D recycled linings made from post-consumer plastic waste.
  • Cannot be used alone — you must pair the EXPLORE 40 SWITCH COVER with a SWITCH FRAME REACTOR back unit to use it.
