The ARVA Explore 30 Switch Cover is the perfect choice for ski touring and backcountry adventures where functionality and safety matter most. With a generous 30L capacity and weighing only 550g, it provides intuitive storage with a dedicated avalanche safety pocket, a large goggle compartment, and a quick-access bottom section for skins, crampons, or gloves.

Easily carry skis (A-frame or diagonal), a snowboard, or two ice axes, while the stowable helmet holder ensures you’re always prepared. Built with recycled, durable fabrics, this pack combines performance with sustainability.

Designed for the ARVA SWITCH system, the Explore 30 Cover must be paired with a SWITCH FRAME REACTOR to activate the ARVA Reactor 2.0 airbag system, giving you maximum modularity and safety in the mountains.

  • Fast & easy side ski and snowboard carry: Attach your skis in two clicks. The A-frame side carry works great with wide skis and improves weight distribution on the pack. Using a strap to hold the top of your skis and keep the tails apart is generally recommended.
  • Integrated helmet holder: Because it's better to always have it with you, we've integrated a stowable helmet holder compatible with all helmet types.
  • SWITCH Modularity: The SWITCH technology was developed to meet the needs of users who don’t limit themselves to one specific activity. The SWITCH range offers ultra-light and comfortable airbag packs that go unnoticed on all your outings.
  • Recycled fabrics: This product is made from tough recycled polyester to minimize our environmental impact and improve durability. Arva uses 300D polyester and 150D recycled linings made from post-consumer plastic waste.
  • Cannot be used alone — you must pair the EXPLORE 30 SWITCH COVER with a SWITCH FRAME REACTOR back unit to use it.
