Bringing light to new heights, the Armada ARV JJ UL floats like a butterfly and cuts like a knife for a unique big mountain freestyle experience. The ski is 25% lighter than the standard ARV 116 JJ. With less weight through the tip and tail, the new ARV JJ UL utilizes a Caruba wood core to create a uniquely lightweight and smooth ride when the going gets deep.

In detail

Rocker Camber Rocker
The ski is easy to turn thanks to a rise in both the tip and the tail. Due to the camber under the foot, the waist of the ski provides grip on harder snow. Skis with this type of profile like to be skied from a more centred stance..


Twin Tip Shape
The ski has a tip on both sides to help with backwards skiing and easy tail release.


Smear Tech
A 3D shaped tip, which can be seen as a sideways rocker. Smear Tech makes the ski easier to steer in deep snow.


Caruba Core
A lightweight core of Caruba wood provides a very low weight, but maintains the necessary cushioning and power on the descent.


Sidewall Construction
A PU layer that seals the layered ski construction on the side and adds strength. Skis with a sidewall construction are generally more stable at speed, livelier and more durable.
