With Zero90 Carbon construction, it combines carbon’s lively response with the smooth flex of glass fiber, creating a durable yet playful feel. Inspired by the Millisurf’s geometry but with added durability, it’s perfect for powder slashes, tight tree lines, and quick turns. The ultra-buoyant shape, tip holes, and tail notches make skin mounting easy, while the Stratospheric Topsheet sheds snow to keep weight down on the ascent. For those who see the mountain as an endless wave, the Surf Shuttle brings effortless fun to every adventure.

PROFILE

  • Directional Cruise Camber
    Early rise rocker for all-mountain dominance. Cruise camber’s toned-down dimensions deliver a precise and lively feel much like pop camber, but with much improved deep snow performance and a more “broken-in” feel out of the shrink-wrap. In Amplid’s directional snowboards a touch of early rise is added to cruise camber to improve buoyancy even further.

  • Floatation Tips
    Ultra-wide, low rising tips that exist purely to create lift in powder without sucking-up speed. They add a surfy feel to skis and snowboards.

  • 3D Crust Buster
    A convex nose profile which improves tracking and fluidity in three-dimensional snow. To retain responsiveness the contact points are not lifted.

CORE

  • Lite Core
    Uber light wood varieties are cut, treated and aligned in a way only our factory knows. Its strength to weight ratio has scientist baffled.

  • Floatation Tips

REINFORCEMENTS

  • Amplid Zero 90
    A full 90° carbon layer enhances edge control, power transfer, and overall board response — all without sacrificing flex or ride feel. The result is a lighter, more stable ride with ultra-precise control across every axis.
  • Basalt Suspension Strips
    Running along the topsheet in a v-configuration from the contact points towards the boots, these narrow bands of basalt fabric dampen unwanted vibrations, reducing rider fatigue and keeping your edge engaged with the snow for improved control. Get the rolls royce feeling!

  • Impact Pads
    On the milligram we have added mulitdirectional glass pads in the binding area, to avoid dings caused by pointy corners of metal splitboard binding bases. These pads will enhance durability without adding undesired weight.

  • Knuckle Sandwich
    Simply put, it’s the toughest gear Amplid makes. Knuckle Sandwich construction replaces conventional materials in areas prone to damage with extra-durable alternatives.

TOPSHEET

  • Stratospheric
    The concept is simple: a reflective topsheet = less heat build-up = less snow sticking = less weight. Stratospheric ensures a better reflection of the heat, which reduces the amount of snow sticking on. Perfect for when you want to go up the mountain on those bluebird days.

  • Amplid hooks
    Forged aluminium board hooks, designed in-house by Amplid’s R&D team, offer a dependable, but weightless connection between board halves and have a slick matt black aesthetic.

 

BASE

  • Sintered 7 HD Base
    Amplid’s ultra-high density sintered base goes like shit-off-ashovel in all snow conditions. It is extremely hard and therefore more resistant to damage.

SIDEWALL & EDGES

  • Split Tune
    Amplid lightly rounds the edges at the tip and tail, outside of the effective edge. Blunting these edges reduces chipping to the topsheet caused by touring.

  • Rust Guard
    Amplid placed stainless steel in the tail edge to prevent rust and protect against consequential delamination, ensuring durability while keeping traditional steel elsewhere for the perfect balance of tunability, flexibility, and performance.
