The Weston Hatchet is your versatile weapon of mass pow slaying destruction. It’s a one of kind. With its direcional twin shape, slight taper and no setback this board will drop cliffs and pop pillows with ease. Because of its rocker in the tip and tail it will keep you afloat anywhere, but will give you a lively feel and stability due to its big amount of camber and carbon stringer from tip tot tail. The Hatchet will bring your freestyle abilities afloat.

PROFILE

  • Multi Radial Twin Camber
    A large camber section in the middle of the board is flanked by a more aggresive radius to the back. Combined with flat to early rise segments to provide additional pop and float while maintaining the edge feel of true camber.

CORE

  • Slayer Wood Core
    This is a bamboo/poplar core, used in most of the boards in Westons line. Designed to be energetic and damp.

  • Rooted Inserts
    Just like roots help keep a plant grounded, flax reinforcement in areas of the core help increase strength and durability and dampens chatter. Additionally, flax is a sustainable crop and is good for the environment.

REINFORCEMENTS

  • Carbon S Weave
    Carbon S Weave is an innovative technology where carbon is weaved through the core from topsheet to base and back. This creates maximum pop.

  • Tri-axe Glass
    Multi-axis, stitched fiberglass laminate. This laminate offers a precise and responsive ride in any ­terrain or snow conditions.

BASE

  • Sintered Electra
    Additives distribute static friction across the base. This creates a more even film of water to glide on. Weston's fastest base. 

TOPSHEET

  • Rugged Topsheet
    Polymide is eco friendly and made from castor beans. The topsheet is durable and resistant to scratches and scuffs.

SIDEWALL & EDGES

  • PU Sidewalls
    Highly durable sidewall that also provides added dampening.
  • Stitched Tips
    Westons tip spacers are stitched to the core to provide added durability.

  • Double Edged
    Multi-radial sidecut provides two additional contact points to help maintain better edge control.
