It features a DIN range of 6.0 to 13.0, suitable for skiers up to 120 kg, and weighs only 395 grams per binding including the brake. The Alpinist Free 13 has a wider base area for enhanced force transmission and ski performance, making it ideal for challenging freeride descents. Its carbon-reinforced toe piece and active length compensation ensure both ease of use and consistent ski flex, even during intense descents.

Length Adjustment
The Alpinist Long Travel heel offers a 35mm heel adjustment range (from -7.5mm to +27,5 mm).

Alpinist Brake
The optional brake for Marker Alpinist bindings is easy to use and lightweight.

Alpinist Climbing Aids

Neutral walking mode and two climbing aids offering 5° and 9°. The fast shift mode enables quick shifting between 0° and 9° without the need to rotate the heel.

Safety Release
Marker Alpinist bindings feature an adjustable lateral release and a fixed vertical release for a great combination of low weight, safety, and durability.

Active Length Compensation


The heel piece of the binding features Active Length Compensation, enabling it to move back up to 7mm when the ski is flexed.

Marker Pin Toe

  • Carbon fiber reinforced material for improved stiffness and super lightweight.
  • Anti Ice Pads in the base of the toe to prevent icing in critical areas.
  • Rubber stop pad: Boot tip is aligned/stopped when stepping in.
  • Wide step-in platform: Enlarged contact area for boot sole when stepping in.
  • Easier step-in: Toe piece “snaps/clicks into the boot” with a lot less force required.
