The Mammut Back Protector is an essential piece of equipment for freeride skiers seeking optimal protection without restriction of movement. This lightweight and certified back protector is compatible with all new Mammut Nirvana backpacks.

The Back Protector has a highly flexible design that uses multi-impact SAS-Tec foam. This advanced material provides excellent shock absorption, adds minimal extra weight and maintains freedom of movement while freeriding.

The special SAS-Tec foam adapts to different impact situations. It offers soft cushioning during gradual force application and maximum stiffness during sudden impact or fall at high speed. These adaptive properties ensure that you are optimally protected while freeriding in a variety of conditions.
