The Lib Tech Skunk Ape is an experiMENTAL division’s big guy “dream board” project. Constant testing and refinement by Trevor Phillips, Krush Kulesza, Neil Green and Kurt Jensen make this the best larger gentleman’s power freestyle stick on the planet. Hit the rails or put it on rail, your toes won’t drag but, your knuckles might. The big nose and HP construction make this a powerful board with ample of float.

MOUNTING
Directional Camber-Rocker-Camber - The camber zones under the feet provide plenty of edge hold, pop and stability, while the rocker between the bindings adds some playfulness. This profile feels powerful, precise and technical, while the directional shape provides more control and float when riding forwards. You will mainly find it in technical all-mountain and freeride boards.
Directional Twin - A directional twin combines the familiar feel of a twin with features of a directional shape. The board is largely symmetrical between the contact points, while the nose may be longer, the flex may differ or the inserts may be positioned slightly towards the tail. On groomed runs, it rides much like a twin, while offering more stability and float off-piste. A versatile choice for all-mountain and freestyle riding.
Sintered Base - A sintered base is compressed under high pressure and has a porous structure that absorbs plenty of wax. This makes the base faster and allows it to perform better in changing snow conditions. The material is harder and more wear-resistant than an extruded base, but it requires regular waxing and is more difficult to repair. A good choice for advanced riders who value speed and performance.
