    - DHL Express takes 1-3 business days to all major EU cities. Delivery times are not guaranteed.

  • For delivery we depend on our transport partners. We can therefore not give a 100% guarantee about the delivery day. Our experience is that in 95% of cases the package is delivered on the predicted day. (UPS Standard and DHL Standard).
  • If you order skis including bindings that need to be mounted, we will do everything we can to mount your skis the same day. In some cases, shipping may take 1-2 business days longer depending on how busy it is. Busy periods include Mondays, Black Friday, the week before Christmas break and the week before spring break. Are you in a hurry? Please contact us!
  • If you place an order for multiple products with different delivery time indications, the delivery time indication of the product with the longest delivery time applies.
  • There is no delivery or shipping on national holidays.

Quick overview

The Lib Tech Escalater Split is designed to give you everything you want and nothing you don’t need on your next split mission. Short overall length keeps it light and easy kick turn on climbs. A noticeably mild camber creates even pressure distributions on climbs and combines with a mild taper to provide excellent float when the board is in one piece and you are in the goods. A smooth entry nose and short tail on a stable platform keep the board fast in soft snow and nimble in tight or technical terrain. 3-D integrated clip inserts and easy to use high tension Karakoram Ultra clips. 

Details

PROFILE

  • Micro Camber
    This profile is optimized for splits. It gives positive hold while climbing with amazing float. The camber section is a bit less high then the normal camber version.

  • Thin Tip and Tails
    A thinner tip and tail, which results in a lower swing rate and less weight in your board.

CORE

  • Splitboard Construction
    Splitboard Construction is made for going into the backcountry. This core had to be light and strong. The core consists of: 95% Paulownia and 5% Aspen. Two layers of tri-ax fiberglass with a basalt webbing provide the torsional stiffness and cushioning when you're not in hip-deep powder. A core you can rely on on the way down in varying terrain, but also light enough for touring.

REINFORCEMENTS

  • Basalt Fiberglass Combo
    A combination of basalt and fibreglass. The basalt ensures that this layer has sufficient absorption and provides better damping to the board. The fibreglass makes the board even livelier and provides the pop.

  • Basalt Fiber Reïnforcement
    Basalt is a volcanic rock with specific properties that includes being lightweight and providing excellent damping, which ensures good stability. Combining basalt with a special resin creates a unique layer that is not only lightweight and strong but also provides a lively playful character (pop).

TOPSHEET

  • Eco Sublimated Poly Top
    Strong polyester topsheet made in the Mervin factory. Eco-friendly, with a beautiful design.

BASE

  • Sintered Knife Cut Base
    This is Lib Tech's sintered base. This base is fast, durable and absorbent. Like other sintered bases, the wax absorbs quickly and improves the glide.

SIDEWALL & EDGES

  • Magne-traction
    Lib Tech is the inventor of Magne-Traction. Magne-Traction is a slight wave in the steel edge. Like a serrated knife that cuts through bread, Magne-Traction cuts in the snow. This gives the board extra grip on icy and hard conditions. When the conditions become softer, this causes a loss of speed.

  • Birch Internal Sidewall
    The internal sidewalls are reinforced with Birch. This gives you a better response and more control. In addition, the chance of a 'fatal' impact on your steel side is reduced.

  • UHMW Sintered Sidewall
    Very strong, waterproof and light sidewall that bends well with the flex of your board. No environmentally unfriendly ABS!

  • UHMW Tip/Tail Impact Deflection
    It is mainly the tip and tail that are damaged while using your board. By using UHMWPE in the tip and tail you prevent this damage and possible delamination. The steel edge of Lib tech boards therefore does not extend beyond the contact points.

    ULTRA clips are the strongest, lowest profilesplitboard clips in the world. They deliver unmatched compression between board halves and they are adjustable so you can maintain even compression as your splitboard ages.
