The Gnu Ladies Choice is Jamie Anderson's pro model. The board performs well in the park thanks to its medium flex, but it can also be used on other terrain. The combination of rocker and camber ensures easy turns and float in the powder. The asymmetrical design provides more power on your toe side and heel side, while the magne-traction provides grip in icy and tough conditions. This board performs everywhere, and you will get why this is Jamie Anderson's pro model as soon as you stand on it.

PROFILE

  • C2X Profile
    Similar to C2, but with more rocker between the feet and a more aggressive camber under the feet. More float and ease of turning and yet a snappy feel and sufficient edge grip. More pressure on the tip and tail means more stability, pop and control.
  • Asymmetry
    Your body does not move the same way on toe-side and heel-side turns. Because your knees naturally bend more powerfully over your toes than over your heels, it can be harder to generate the same pressure and control on both edges. GNU’s asymmetrical design balances that out with a shorter heel-side sidecut and a specially tuned core construction. The result is a more natural riding feel, with toe-side and heel-side turns that feel equally precise, powerful and connected.

CORE

  • G Lite 3 Carbon Core
    GNU’s lightest and most powerful core construction, built with FSC certified aspen and paulownia for a strong, lively and low-weight ride. This construction is tuned for more pop, faster response and a more energetic feel underfoot. It gives high-performance boards the snap, precision and strength needed for aggressive all-mountain riding.

REINFORCEMENTS

  • Tri-Ax/Bi-Ax Glass
    GNU combines tri-axial and bi-axial fiberglass to give the board a strong, poppy and responsive ride. The bi-axial glass keeps the flex smooth and manageable, while the tri-axial glass adds power, precision and edge-to-edge response. Together they create a construction that feels active without becoming nervous.

TOPSHEET

  • Eco Sublimated Bio Beans Top
    The Eco Sublimated Bio Beans Top is a super strong polyester topsheet made with eco-friendly castor beans. It is lightweight, scratch-resistant and helps repel water and snow, keeping the board looking fresh through hard use. A durable topsheet with a cleaner material story and a premium GNU finish.

BASE

  • Sintered Knife-Cut Base
    GNU’s Sintered Knife-Cut Base is built for speed, durability and strong wax absorption. The sintered structure holds wax well, helping the board stay fast when properly maintained. It is a tough, high-performance base for riders who push hard and want reliable glide across changing snow conditions.

SIDEWALL

  • UHMW Sidewall
    UHMW is used in the sidewalls, tips and tails to create a tough and fast construction around the board’s edges. This durable material helps protect the core from impact while keeping the board strong through heavy use. It adds the kind of reliable edge-zone strength you want when riding hard across the whole mountain.
  • Magne-Traction
    Magne-traction is a wavy-edged snowboard. Just like a serrated knife that cuts through bread, Magne-Traction cuts through the snow. Gnu uses seven tactically placed waves in the steel edge, which results in a lot of grip in icy and tough conditions.
