In short

Bataleon has taken their ongoing partnership with Beyond Medals to a new level for this season. The Bataleon Beyond Medals inherited features from the Goliath and Whatever. Designed with an elongated nose and a square tail. This fresh shape was developed together with Tor Lundström to best suit his fast, aggressive riding style. Directional Twin with backseat inserts for those days. This is a serious tool no matter the conditions.

PROFILE

  • Freestyle TBT
    Freestyle 3BT™ has the sidebase and centerbase areas equally proportioned, with a medium uplift angle. With added length in the nose, Freestyle 3BT™ boards let you get creative across the whole mountain.

  • SideKick
    In addition to 3BT, the boards with Sidekick have raised contact points. SideKick makes turn initiation even smoother, increases float in powder and handling of the board in rough terrain.

CORE

  • Ultra Light
    A lightweight core with a 70:30 ratio of Swiss Paulownia and poplar wood. This wood core gives you an incomparable power-to-weight ratio. A lighter core means a finer, more agile board.

REINFORCEMENTS

  • Carbon Stringers
    Carbon stringers are positioned in the board in different ways. This results in a stiffer board with more pop and responsiveness. Carbon stringers are light and will significantly improve the performance of your board.

  • D.R.S.T
    Six hollow carbon tubes have been placed in the board, parallel to the radius of the board. This results in extra power transfer at the steel edge.

TOPSHEET

  • Triax Glassing
    Triax laminate is made of three way-weave of fibreglass, which is light, strong and quick to respond. It results in a stiffer board underfoot with more responsiveness.

BASE

  • Ultra Glide S
    Made with as many molecules as possible to produce a sintered base that can absorb hard blows. The base uses the ISO-Sport 7000 series, so there will never be a lack of speed.

SIDEWALL & EDGES

  • Shock Walls
    Shock Walls is Bataleon's sidewall technology. These sidewalls are made of urethane and are the bumpers of your snowboard. They can take a blow and ensure a smoother experience on the piste.

  • Backseat Inserts
    An extra set of backseat inserts with heavy setback for the extreme powder days.
