Details

Shell Technology:

  • Prolite
The design starts with a lightweight base, adding reinforcements in key areas, resulting in a lightweight yet strong shoe that enhances power and stability without adding unnecessary weight.

  • Memory Fit
Atomic’s Memory Fit technology allows for the shell, cuff, and liner to be heat-molded, providing a personalized fit that adapts perfectly to the skier’s foot shape for maximum comfort and performance.

  • Investment Cast Tech Inserts
These precision, durable inserts provide a secure and robust connection between the boot and tech bindings, enhancing reliability and performance for touring and alpine skiing.

  • Mid Grip
The central part of the sole is made of rubber structure for better traction and grip when walking on rocky or icy surfaces, increasing safety and stability when not skiing.

  • Gripwalk
Gripwalk ski boot technology is designed for greater safety while walking. There were simply too many accidents. Therefore, the heel and toe pieces now have much more grip by using a softer compound rubber combined with a coarser profile, ensuring a lot less accidents.

Cuff Technology:

  • Frictionless Pivot
This feature uses polymer bushings to provide a completely natural range of motion, allowing for effortless and friction-free movement during ascents, enhancing both comfort and efficiency in touring boots.

  • Free/Lock 4.5
The Atomic FREE/LOCK technology in ski boots allows for seamless switching between ski and walk modes, offering up to a 54-degree range of motion for natural strides during ascents and stable, powerful performance during descents. This system enhances versatility and comfort for both all-mountain skiing and freeride touring.

  • Adaptive Fit System (AFS) Cuff
The AFS Cuff allows for customized adjustments to the boot’s cuff, accommodating different calf sizes and shapes, ensuring a better fit and enhanced comfort for a wider range of skiers.

  • Energy Backbone
A reinforced, asymmetric backbone provides extra strength and power to the ski boots, improving stability and control for more aggressive skiing while maintaining flex and comfort.

Liner Technology:

  • Mimic
The pre-shaped heel, ankle and tongue feature a layer of supportive, heat-moldable material. After being softened in the oven, this material mimics the precise shape of your foot, and hardens in that shape for a perfect custom fit.

  • Power Ankle Lock (PAL)
This system secures the ankle in place with precision, enhancing stability and power transfer from the skier to the ski, improving control and performance on varied terrain.

  • Achilles Flex Zone
Designed to provide greater flexibility and comfort, the Achilles Flex Zone allows for natural movement of the Achilles tendon, reducing strain and increasing comfort during skiing and walking.

  • Adaptive Fit System (AFS) Tongue
The Tongue can be adjusted to fit different foot shapes and sizes, ensuring better pressure distribution and comfort across the foot, which is essential for long days on the slopes.

  • 3D Stretch Toe Box
This feature allows for more room and comfort in the toe area by using elastic materials that stretch and conform to the shape of the skier’s foot, preventing pressure points and enhancing overall fit.

  • Dura Shield
A durable TPU layer combined with rugged mesh textile provides added protection and durability to the boot, making it more resistant to wear and tear from the elements and frequent use.

  • 3M Thinsulate
This insulation technology ensures warmth and comfort in the liner without adding bulk, keeping feet warm even in cold conditions while maintaining a snug and precise fit.
