Quick overview

The Völkl Deacon 76 is a giant slalom piste racer with a playful character. Fast edge changes, tremendous grip and at the same time remained agile due to the small rockers. This is a versatile take on a GS race ski. The Deacon 76 enjoys big and longer turns and preferably at speed. The addition of a layer of Titanium to the core has made the ski extra lively and stable. This is a ski for men who enjoy carving bigger turns with speed on all types of slopes and in all conditions.

Details

Rocker Camber Small Rise
Skis with a rocker in the tip, camber in the middle and a small rise in the tail are very versatile. The ski is easy to turn, and the camber under the foot gives the ski grip on harder snow. The tail is slightly raised, but it is not like a full rocker. This makes for a balanced combination of easy turning and carving, without compromising on stability.

Multilayer Woods Core
A combination of lighter, softer polar and heavier, stronger beech wood provides a combination between light weight, strength, durability and damping.

3D Glass
By using three-dimensionally molded fiberglass layers, Völkl's technology provides a stable, powerful ski that is characterized by excellent edge grip.

Titanal
A composite metal of mainly aluminium, known for its torsional stiffness and durability. The addition of a Titanal layer to the ski construction provides stability at speed, strength and damping.

Sidewall Construction
A PU layer that seals the layered ski construction on the side and adds strength. Skis with a sidewall construction are generally more stable at speed, livelier and more durable.
