PERFORMANCE

The asymmetric Duraflex ST baseplate gives response where it's needed and removes excess weight. This results in more torsional flex in the board and a lighter binding.
The Extruded 3D Aluminum Heelcup is designed for optimum heel hold and minimization of drag, Union 3D Extruded Aluminum heelcups are the strongest in the business.
The new Astro ankle washer prevents heelcup slippage on binding models that only feature a single heelcup screw.

This preloaded highback has quick and easy edge to edge power, while the bushing in the highback ensures comfort and increased freestyle flex .

Union's all-new Molecular bushing provides spring-loaded take offs and perfectly cushioned landings. 15% lighter than Union Fused Vaporite and guaranteed to minimize foot, ankle and knee fatigue. This is the future of freestyle binding design.
The TPE Outsole is a Union exclusive and adds another layer of dampening and vibration caneling to the all-new Ultra.
Instant response meets season long foot comfort. The Forma X ankle strap is an all-new construction that combines our responsive Exoframe exterior with the padded comfort and flexibility of the Forma interior.

Union's newest and most comfortable toe strap to date. The TS 5.0 Toe Strap easily shapes to any snowboard boot and offers maximum grip from all angles.

USE

This Union binding is equipped with the strongest steel available on the market - Union’s use of Grade 8.8 represents Union’s commitment of delivering the strongest and most reliable bindings on the market today. The evolution of Union’s innovative concept of minimizing dead spots taken one step further - a mere 5% binding-to-board contact area. 4x2 and Channel compatible. Not compatible with 3-hole and 4x4.

The buckles on both the toe and ankles strap are from Magnesium. This Union exclusive process produces a material four times the strength of aluminium with only half the weight. Easy in, easy out.
The Fused Vaporlite Non-stick gas pedals shed water and snow like nothing you’ve experienced before. Gone are the days of icy build-up under your boots.
