  • For delivery we depend on our transport partners. We can therefore not give a 100% guarantee about the delivery day. Our experience is that in 95% of cases the package is delivered on the predicted day. (UPS Standard and DHL Standard).
  • If you order skis including bindings that need to be mounted, we will do everything we can to mount your skis the same day. In some cases, shipping may take 1-2 business days longer depending on how busy it is. Busy periods include Mondays, Black Friday, the week before Christmas break and the week before spring break. Are you in a hurry? Please contact us!
  • If you place an order for multiple products with different delivery time indications, the delivery time indication of the product with the longest delivery time applies.
  • There is no delivery or shipping on national holidays.

Quick overview

Storming the mountain with good vibes, the Slash Brainstorm is a highly versatile, maneuverable, and capable directional twin for charging a bevy of conditions and terrain. The tri-axial fiberglass cloaks the core with a fluid flex. Beneath the surface lies a blend of carbon fiber, Kevlar and rubber stringers underfoot for lightning-like response whether it’s a simple slash, or hefty snap off the lip. The complex Forever Core is composed of four distinct woods (paulownia, spruce, beech and poplar) for a dynamic, durable and ultra lightweight build. The subtle Traction Bump mid-sidecut provides extra grip in firm snow and the setback camber profile offers rocker lift in the nose for shoveling through crust, chop and fresh slop.

PROFILE

  • Backseat Camrock
    The backseat camrock design places rocker in the nose and a slight amount in the tail with positive camber in between. This setback design delivers camber stability and control between the feet and in the tail, with the added float and maneuverability of the rockered nose.

  • Kickstand
    Slash their identity shape saves material and weight and also stands up without tipping over like rounded boards do!

  • Progressive Sidecut
    Slash their progressive sidecut design blends many radii and smooth contact points for buttery smooth turn initiation, edge-to-edge transition and edge hold. It’s different for each model and matches the sidecut to the board’s specific camber profile.

CORE

  • Forever Woodcore
    Constructed from four different lightweight wood species—paulownia, spruce, beech and poplar—for a premium core that offers a highly tuned and dynamic feel. It’s flyweight, durable, filled with pop and highly reactive.

REINFORCEMENTS

  • Tri-ax
    Tri-ax fiberglass is a three-way weave of fiberglass with strands running at 45-degree angles. It provides superior pop, consistent torsional flex, and more overall response.

  • Landing Strip
    Strips of kevlar and carbon fiber placed from the inserts to the tips in the nose and tail to support landings and reduce washouts. This design also helps dampen high-speed chatter, offer stability at speed and load up potent ollies.

BASE

  • Sintered Base 6000
    This sintered base is fast, durable and requires less waxing. We believe in using the best possible materials and refrain from using cheaper, low-density extruded material our boards.

  • Belt Finish
    The belt finish gets your base optimized before it’s fully waxed.

  • Factory Wax
    All Slash boards are factory waxed with OneBallJay wax and ready to shred straight out of the wrapper.

  • Edges
    Slash builds their edges with 35% more steel content than average. They are simply stronger and more durable than the alternative.
