Quick overview

Despite its twin tip based on the sidecut radius, the Nub's Long Nose Twin shape and progressive side cut give it the appearance of a directional board. However, it excels in riding and landing switch without the unpredictable behavior often associated with directional shapes. The elongated nose ensures ample float in powder conditions, while the optimum stance places you in the sweet spot of the Traditional Camber. Notably, the Nub holds the title of being the preferred board of SIMS team rider Scott Blum.

PROFILE

  • Traditional Camber
    A single convex arc between the board’s contact points ensures predictable edge hold, load, and rebound as pressure is exerted and expelled throughout the rider’s turn.

 

  • Regular Tips
    This is a traditional construction that features full wood core content from tip-to-tail for smooth-flexing stability and durability.

 

  • Twin Wave Form
    In accordance with the position of the hole pattern and the camber, the thickness of the core surface is partially adjusted to create a unique flex, enhancing shock absorption and control.

 

  • Long Nose Twin
    The long nose twin shape has outside of the contactpoints a longer nose than tail. Therefore it rides like a twin on hardpack but floats in pow like a directional.
