The K2 Isolator is another member of the K2 Deep Collection. And it's appereances make clear why. Made with a strong and responsive Paulownia Tour-Lite core. Stiffer than the Marauder because of the ICG 20 Biax Carbon Fiberglass laminates. The K2 Isolator has a wide nose with no rocker in the tail so has a true directional shape and camber. The Volume Shift technology allows you to choose 4-5 cm shorter than you normally would.

    A camber up to the front foot and a small rocker in the tip. Applied to the more freeride-oriented boards. Camber for precision and pop; rocker for float and predictability.

    Up to 500g lighter than an average core to reduce touring fatigue.

REINFORCEMENTS

  • ICG Carbon Glass
    Integrating tip-to-tail carbon fiber stringers into fiberglass lay-ups ensures a smooth power release in and out of turns while increasing pop, liveliness, and longevity of the snowboard without adding unneccesary rigidity. K2 offers ICG™ glass in two variations; ICG 10 biax and ICG 20 triax.
