It's designed for the advanced snowboarder in any terrain but with a extra portion of freestyle. The new 3D Base Contour with a 3mm contour transition makes the snowboard playful and forgiving at the same time. Jib, stomp, and freestyle everything whilst having a stable ride!

PROFILE

  • Twin Camber Profile
    A twin camber profile makes the snowboard under your feet lively and poppy helping you track straight into jumps and pop ollies over fences.

 

  • 3D Base Contour
    3mm of Contour Blending from Running Surface.

    By reducing the amount of materials in low-stress zones, K2 were able to reduce the swingweight of your snowboard, while also reducing chatter in the tip and tail - all without sacrificing strength.

 

CORE

  • A1 Core
    Lightweight, snappy, and durable, K2's A1 Core is made from three renewable species of timber - Bamboo, Aspen, and Paulownia. Aspen-dominant to highlight the snap and response of this wood, K2 has combined it with Bamboo at 30 ° underfoot to increase strength, supercharge the edge-to-edge response, and increase the pressure distribution along the edge. They also placed lightweight paulownia in the tip and tail help to reduce swingweight.

 

REINFORCEMENTS

  • ICG Carbon Glass
    Integrating tip-to-tail carbon fiber stringers into fiberglass lay-ups ensures a smooth power release in and out of turns while increasing pop, liveliness, and longevity of the snowboard without adding unneccesary rigidity. K2 offers ICG™ glass in two variations; ICG 10 biax and ICG 20 triax.

  • Spaceglass
    Aerospace-grade fibreglass. Very light and durable, with better edge grip and reduced vibration.

  • Carbon Darkweb
    A carbon fiber lay-up that aids in energy transfer and stability, speeding up edge-to-edge transitions and keeping you in control in times of need.

BASE

  • Wax Infused Sintered 4001 Base
    Built using the hardest and fastest Sintered base material on the market from Crown, the Wax-Infused Sintered 4001 holds wax longer than other Sintered bases for a smoother glide, longer.
