In detail

Camber
The ski has a traditional pre-tensioning over almost its entire length. This shape makes it easy to build up pressure in the turns, creating good edge grip. Nowadays, nearly all Camber skis also have some sort of rocker in the tip to improve turn initiation.

Elliptical Sidecut
The Elliptical Sidecut consists of a longer radius underfoot and shorter radii in the tip and tail of the ski. The long radius underfoot allows for faster and easier pivoting, while a shorter radius in the tip and tail results in easier turn initiation. This sidecut allows for a wide variety of turn lengths, angles and mounting positions.

Woodcore
The core consists of specifically selected wood types that are laminated in different compositions into a solid core. This gives the designers control over all the characteristics of the ski.

Sidewall Construction
A durable PU sidewall seals and protects the ski’s layered construction while adding structural strength. By improving power transfer from the skier to the edges, sidewall construction delivers better edge grip, increased stability at speed, and more precise handling. It also enhances durability and impact resistance for long-lasting performance.

Shape

The shape of a freestyle ski is designed for tricks, jumps and creative use of the terrain. With 66 mm underfoot, the ski remains manoeuvrable and quick to steer, with a shape that is well suited to switch skiing and use in the park.
Profile

A camber profile has traditional camber, with the middle section of the ski raised off the snow when unweighted. This provides a long effective edge, good grip and direct power transfer, especially on hard snow.
Ski core

Focused on reducing the overall weight of the ski. This makes the ski feel lighter and requires less effort to steer and carry.
Ski outline

Features a longer and generally wider tip than tail, with the sidecut positioned further back. This makes the shape clearly focused on forward skiing and provides more support and direction when entering and exiting a turn.
Side wall

Combines sidewall and cap construction within the same ski. The sidewall is used where direct power transfer is desired, while the cap construction on other sections can help reduce weight and create a more accessible skiing feel.
Flex

Offers a good balance between easy flexing and sufficient support. This keeps the ski accessible at a relaxed pace while providing more stability and control as speed and load increase.
Radius

With a radius of 19m @ 179cm, this ski initiates short turns easily and gets onto its edges quickly. It requires relatively little input, but at higher speeds it may need more attention to remain calm and stable.
