The Bergans of Norway Y MountainLine Breathe 3L Shell Bib Pants Men are a highly technical mountain bib pant made in a design focusing on low weight, ventilation, and breathability. Here you get the protective properties and feel of a bib combined with the agility and packability of a lightweight shell pant. In other words, the perfect piece for high-output mountain activities like ski-touring. 

From the waist down these pants feature a soft and light, 100% recycled polyamide face fabric. In combination with the Bergans Bega Membrane Breathe Pro™ technology the material provides sovereign weather protection and exceptional breathability. The upper bib-part is made from a breathable softshell material and cut low to secure optimal airflow.

In detail

The Y MountainLine Breathe 3L Shell Bib Pants Men comes with highly breathable and ergonomic designed suspenders to provide full freedom of movement shaped to secure comfort when carrying a backpack. It comes with full side zips with four sliders on both sides for endless ventilation possibilities, and to facilitate taking the pant on and off even with your ski touring boots on. These zippers also come in handy whenever you need a drop seat function. Another smart feature is the zip-off gaiters inside the legs, perfect if you want to prioritize lower weight over protection (saves 117 g). You will also find a tightening option to customize the pants to your boot size of the day. Two spacious pockets for various equipment are precisely placed on each thigh. To keep track of all those little things, there is a smaller phone sized pocket inside the big one. There is also a small pocket placed on the bib part. All of them with an attachment hook to secure your stuff properly.

Additional feautures are a storm flap behind side ventilation zippers, panel construction in crotch for less friction and chafing at thigh area, articulated knee sections, extra-large reinforcement on bottom leg and additionally reinforced on the inside leg, flap with snap button closure on leg for tightening when moving in difficult condition, shoelace hook at front leg end to connect the pant to your boots, easy grip zip pullers and reflective details.
