Hang-ups are history: smash down the door to the future of freestyle with Wallie Tips. The skate-inspired tips feature a steeper kick, so you can smash them over obstacles, press through gnarlier kinks and jam the board up walls and polls. Combined with a wide, stable centerbase and subtle uplift at the wide points to minimise hang-ups, you’ll have never felt so confident on the run-in. Make scorpions a thing of the past.

Snowcountry Second Choice Snowboards

We sell second choice snowboards in 3 categories. All snowboards are sold with their regular product warranty. For any questions regarding a specific second chance product, please contact our customer service.

  • B-Grade
    B-Grade snowboards can contain cosmetic defects and small production discrepancies. All of these defects are cosmetical and the snowboards are new and technically 100%.
  • C-Grade
    C-Grade snowboards have transport damage, scratches on base or top sheet, or other small defects. These snowboards are new but might need some attention.
  • Demo
    Demo snowboards are used by our team for testing purposes. They are in a good state and well serviced.

PROFILE

  • Twin TBT
    Made with a wide centre base and a low sidebase uplift. The low uplift starts outside the bindings for precision and control. The wide centre base provides more stability when riding obstacles in the park.

  • SideKick
    In addition to 3BT, the boards with Sidekick have raised contact points. SideKick makes turn initiation even smoother, increases float in powder and handling of the board in rough terrain.

  • WallieTips
    These WallieTips give your nose and tail a big uplift, which makes it easier to grab. Unleash your creativity!

CORE

  • Light Core
    50/50 Swiss paulownia and poplar creates a balanced core that’s lively yet strong.

REINFORCEMENTS

  • Carbon Stringers
    Carbon stringers are positioned in the board in different ways. This results in a stiffer board with more pop and responsiveness. Carbon stringers are light and will significantly improve the performance of your board.

  • C.S.T
    There is a centrally placed carbon tube in the board. This tube provides more pop in the board without adding more torsional stiffness to it.

TOPSHEET

  • Biax Glassing
    The traditional Bataleon laminate, made of two layers of fibreglass. Biax Laminate gives a snappy feel without adding torsional stiffness.

BASE

  • Hyper Glide S
    This is Bataleon's standard sintered base, made to take a beating and go fast.

SIDEWALL

  • ABS (recycled) Sidewall
    Provides enhanced durability while keeping the core safe from moisture. When a plastic alternative is unavailable, as in the case of ABS sidewalls, Bataleon has chosen for recycled material to improve the sustainability of their products.
